Amazing Courage

http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=469650188853

1st Exam in a WEEK!

The final semester of the pre-clinical years is here and the very first exam of the semester is due in a week from today!

What have I done so far? Hospital visit and did pathology rotation and saw a couple of autopsies done. Good experience, but I will have to reconsider my thoughts about becoming a clinical pathologist and whatnots. Then did an interview in a surgery ward. My patient seems to be very lonely and looking for someone to speak to or someone to listen to him/her. Patient is an elderly and I am not very shy with elderlies as they remind me of my grandparents. Having taking care of grandma as well as talking with my grandma makes me quite comfortable while I am doing it. At first a bit awkward as there is a cultural barrier as well as a bit of a generation gap and I don't have a clue what the patient likes. But when I found the common ground, the conversation felt like I was talking to my grandma all over again and we had some laughters. One thing I won't ever forget is the moment when I saw the patient eyes sparkle and saw the inner joy. It was unlike any other feeling that I have felted before. I thought it will be hard to leave my patient as he/she might feel sad when I leave due to lack of companion. Surprisingly, it did not happen that way, instead it seems that my patient enjoyed the time. It probably gave him/her the hope for another visit like this from the student or whatnots, only he/she knows. The patient sent me off with a smile and I felt the warmness and sincereness in it.

That aside, diuretic, antihyperlipidemic, antiangina, antihypertensive, antiarrhythmic, inotropic, hemostasis, respiratory drugs were learned. Haven't mastered them yet, but hopefully by Monday next week I will be. Then learned more about the Microbes: pneumonia causing, heart disease causing: the good olds Streptococcus pyogenes, pneumoniae, Haemophilius influenza, Mycobacterium tuberculosis! Oh and the VIRUSES! Orthomyxo, Flavi, Filo just to name a few. Then come the worms and other parasites. You probably guessed that I learned heart and lung pathology as well.

Time to go back to my study again folks. Thanks for tuning in.

Marriage

Marriage!

It is so complicated that I don't even know where to start. So lets start from what others say about Marriage! Some says that it is when 2 persons get together with a celebration. I can see the logic in that, of course, you need 2 persons to get married since marrying yourself will be quite unproductive. Celebration part is just basically DECLARING to your little niche that that PERSON is yours. Then I ask myself, is it really that simple and am I making things too complicated? Or was I not asking the right question to begin with?

However, others say marriage is not just 2 people getting together, but instead it is 2 families getting together tying knots. That includes sharing of wealth, warmth of a family, to escape from loneliness among others. I like this answer better than the former. It sounds more complete and looks like a lot of thoughts has been put into answering it. Here come the problem, how do you decide which is more important? Not everyone shares the same priority. To me everything is equally important. None should worth more than the others. However, if I must prioritize them, this will be my list in the order of importance: 1)Love, 2)Everything thing else. Very simple because without Love from people around you then, it sort of defeats the purpose of escaping loneliness. Furthermore, without Love, you will hardly get any Peace in your life. I am sure many people still say "Money can get you anything!" and I am sure that one of the thing cannot be Peace. Even if they can, the Peace they get will only last for the duration they can spend their money on. Once they stop spending the money, poof goes the Peace. Never can get the eternal Peace. Personally, I don't see the point in living a life that is not Peaceful. Yet many people rank others higher than Love. Maybe that's the reason why we have such high divorce rate in the world today. Most of the marriages today are based on the something other than Love. Once that foundation of marriage has been struck with mayhems, the whole marriage collapses and ending up with a divorce. That is if the foundation is something tangible material such as money. However, when that foundation is Love, the marriage doesn't seems to collapse as easily or won't collapse at all. In here you have to be clear about the Love, because most people nowadays use Love like they use water or money. The real value of Love has been so dissolved that it doesn't even have any special meaning to some people. When I said Love as a foundation, I meant the "True Love", the one that you are accepting he/she as a person from deep down without any influences from his/her superficial looks. So first ask yourself whether it was the True Love or not, when you said your marriage was based on Love yet it collapsed. Maybe your so-called Love was tainted with others and wasn't the True Love that I am talking about.

So follow your dream, and wish you all have a very lovely life ahead of you.

MEANINGLESS COMPETITIONS

People are just unbelievable sometimes. I am sick of dealing with people in general. When you are being nice to them and living humbly, they think you are a dumb@$$. There are so many (meaningless) competitions in life and that is what I hate the most about life. Because of all those competition, people are suffering, wars are going on and PEACE is getting further away everyday. I learned that NOT everyone deserves your kindness equally. Even if you want to treat people equally, I will suggest not to do so unless you are ready to be stepped all over you. You should always keep those people who like to RUB in your face any time they have a chance, in check at all time. Those are the one who will have MEANINGLESS competition and ruin your peaceful mode.

On that not, leave me the F!@# alone, I just want to live peacefully till I die. If you want to compete or compare or trying to get better than me, DO IT QUIETLY and DON'T F!@#ING come rub in my face with your pitiful knowledge or achievements. NOT that I am scare to compete with you, but I just don't want to waste my precious energy in a useless competition. If it is a worthy competition, I don't mind taking your challenge. The only person you should compete against is YOU! Try to get better, stronger, wiser... whatever -er than the you from the day before. That is the only meaningful competition I see. Being said that, you should get the idea that I probably won't even bother to compete with you. I just want to lay low and stay in the low key, I don't want to be F!@#ING famous.

Riddle

It has been two and a quarter year since that day! One and a quarter years since I last saw! About 3500 miles apart yet it is very close to my heart!

Feel free to take a shot at this and post your answer (if you think you know it) on comment space!
P.S. Can be more than 1 correct answer!

1st day of 4th Semester

I have a pretty good feeling about this semester. T -103 days and counting down! So far had cardiopathology and cardiomicro. Will be followed by cardiopharm I believe. Along with the fun-filled cardioICM. 1st day went well so far. Enjoyed what I learned today. Looking forward to the end of semester or the 19th of December!

Played basketball today. Knock-out/Bump whatever they called it. 5-7 times champion! Wooo Hooo!

Missing the loved ones from afar. Thank you all for being there with me thick and thin. Thank you for giving me the courage to keep walking on this road. Thanks to you all that I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope that is not the on-coming train though! Either way, with all of your encouragements and support, I will be able to push back if the light is an on-coming train! Miss you all and LOVE you all!

ICM and BEH ORAL

This week is the fun fun week! Open the week with an ICM practical. Out of 14 possible physical exam tasks, you go up and pick a card (luck of your draw) and perform the task in 6 minutes! The proctor ask you a couple of questions and you are being graded on your performance and your answers to his/her questions! Well, I got "Detailed Radial Pulse Exam", pretty simple, find the radial pulse in both hands, describe its tone, volume, characteristics, rate, rhythm. Then do a radial-radial delay and radial-femoral delay! Well... was good till proctor keeps interrupting me and won't let me do my thing :S. I have my own routine to perform the task, but the proctor has his or her own routine. So when the two don't match proctor starts interrupting me thinking I missed something or what not. So I will say it wasn't that good of an experience, but it is OK overall. And today is the behavior oral exam. You get 10 minutes to do an interview on a standardized patient. The patient provide you with a complaint and you are suppose to determine the cause. This is more fun x). The proctor doesn't interrupt you, you are on your own, acting like a real doc interviewing a patient to better understand the cause of his/her problem. Very rewarding experience I will say. However you only get 10 minutes so you have to manage your time and spend it wisely. Fill the grading criteria first then do whatever you pleased, that is if you have extra time. Either way now the semester is coming to an end. Only have 2 more exams and 1 lab final ;)! Can't wait it to be over! One step closer to my GOAL!

Guang Liang - Tong Hua (Translated)

I don't know what will happen in the future. One thing for certain is that we all will have to leave this world one day. It is just a matter of time and waiting for your turn to be called. So while waiting, people do different things to pass the time. Some wonderful, some awful, but nonetheless they all help us to pass the waiting time. Needless to say, whatever you do, live and control your own life so you will have no regret. If you think Fairy Tales are impossible, you are not 100% wrong, but just because they are not 100% true doesn't mean you should stop trying! If the Fairy Tales are your ideal life, then by all mean do what is within your reach to achieve that life! There is nothing wrong with it. Of course people will say you are foolish because you are trying to achieve the impossible! But let me ask you this, have you ever thought about why they are saying that? There are 3 reasons behind why they are calling you foolish! One, they don't have the courage like you to try and fight for the impossible. Second, if you achieve that impossible, then you will be different from them and 1 level above them, and they don't want to see that someone is better than them! Thirdly, they are not taking control of their own lives, instead they let the society set the rules and living inside that little boundary! So go out and push that boundaries and set new boundaries while you can! You will never know unless you try!!!

Been A Long Time

Well well well... I haven't been on here for ages. I was having too much fun in my current semester. It has been a blast so far since the first day. Things are getting more interesting, but so is the amount of materials and workloads. I celebrated my B-Day on the island, away from my parents for the very first time that is. I won't ever forget that! Was a blast yet I am still ambivalent about it as partially feel sad not to be together with parents to celebrate B-Day. However, my friends here made it a blast! So first and foremost, thank you guys! I really appreciate it for showing up and making it a merry party!

I will post the pictures from that day soon in case if you guys want to see them. I hope to do something similar after the semester or even after next Mini! Looking forward to gather again and have fun... I might need some inputs from you guys as well for the future events!

First Patient Interview

I had my first live patient interview on Monday. It wasn't that bad of an experience, but it is completely different from DPS papers that we've been writing in first and second semester. Those paper, you formulate your own questions and answer or you write a story tailored to your need. However those papers helped me quite a bit. At the very least, they gave me a sense of confidence and made me think that I know what I am doing. Those papers put me in ease when I was doing the interview. I will usually be at like super anxious stage in those situation, however I found myself at ease maybe a little nervous as a first timer, but nothing more. Hey, to tell you the truth, it is far from being perfect, but didn't make me feel like an idiot with a pen and paper sitting there and doesn't know what to do. If I have to rate myself I will generously gave myself 6.5/10. That is how perfect it is. I missed to get some information or do a complete ROS. I was jumpy over different sessions because I was letting the interview to take its own course. That is mainly due to my lack of organizational skill and didn't have a good grasp of the structure of the interview. I think I will improve greatly maybe up to 8.5 or higher on my second live interview! I am looking forward to do it more!

The only thing is that clinic visit took about 25-30 minutes ride and the winding road made me nauseous. :( I felt like throwing up when I got to the clinic.

Also I have to write a report or write-up on that patient and due by this Friday. I am pretty much done with it and doing final touches. So far so good??? Don't know yet, I have to wait and see! Can't draw any conclusion for sure yet!

Well.. well ... well.....

New semester is about to begin... and I am glad I finished my 1st year unscathed! woo hooo... passing the semester is a great feeling. Thanks to people who encouraged me throughout the semester and being there with me through all the ups and downs. I couldn't have done it without you guys beside me. It means alot to me and I really appreciate all the encouragements!

During my break I am catching up with movies, burmese and english. Some movies are entertaining, some very knowledgeable and some plain old stupidity. While watching some burmese movies from (www.shwedream.com), one actress remind me of special someone. Her name is Thet Mon Myint. http://www.yangonow.com/jpn/blog/files/ma%20thet.jpg, http://media.photobucket.com/image/thet%20mon%20myint/photomyanmar/Thet-Mon-Myint-Red-Top-500px-005.jpg
Just a few links of her pics... tell me if she is not cute. I don't want to use the words hot and sexy cuz those words have different meanings for me and her prettiness lies in the "simpleness" and hot and sexy just doesn't quite fit with her prettiness. I think you know what I mean. Either way it is quite refreshing to watch movies and relax over the break. It was a short break but not a shabby break by any mean!

Wish best of luck to readers to my post. Once again thanks for reading/spending time on my blog. Cheers!

Almost forget.... Early HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to the moms out there!!! To my mom, you are one of the greatest, bestest gift I have ever received in my whole life. Love you from bottom of my heart, MOM!!!!! <3<3<3

Funny How Things Are Run, Ain't It?

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/04/15/health/main6400285.shtml

Life insurance companies investing in the fast-food industries so they can get more profit. It is like double Bohr effect! On one hand, they are getting nice dividends from those investments, on the other, their clients who are eating those fast-foods die young and never even get to the full benefit from them. Very interesting WORLD we are living in.

Another earthquake 7.1 in China? REALLY, WTF is going on? Expect an aftershock? Where are the geologists out there? Common... I am sure this really now deserve an explanation!

Wednesday, April 7, 2010

World is Crumbling

What is going on, please some geologists tell me!!! I demand an ANSWER now! Seriously, is the 2012 $h!t for REAL? Just past 3 months or so, starting with Haiti, all earthquakes are above 6.5 in magnitude. Nothing less! 7+ and 6.9 aftershock, then more in other place. And 2 days ago was in Baja California 7.2 or so they said. Today in Indonesia 7.5... so you, geologists out there please please give me an answer. I am BEGGING!

And for those of you who been drilling more wells into ground, STOP IT! Mother EARTH is mad ;(, you don't want her to turn into INSANE! Quite sad how no one really care about nothing except him/herself these day. Where the self-sacrifice, which used to be a noble thing to do and many are willing back in the days... Now if you do it, you will be ridiculed and labeled as "DUMB@$$" or something in that nature.

To end this on good note, I will pass the 2 practicals I took yesterday and this afternoon. And more interestingly, I cannot get a 0 on today as we have 1 freebie! WOOO-HOOO!!! I am for the free as I am desperate! (I haven't been posting lately as I am doing some catch up and I am in what they called here "THE NOTORIOUS HELL WEEK", which has 4 practical lined up 4 straight days, then 3 days break and 3rd exam, then a week from that 3rd exam is 3 days of COMPREHENSIVE FINALS!)

Unbelievable

I really don't know how locals survive here? DON'T THEY HAVE WATCH or something? It is unbelievable that they just don't give a F about time here. Said they will be at 7 to pick up my laundry and showed up only 5 past 7:30. That's after 2 calls from me. No call were made and I felt like an idiot standing there waiting for the laundry lady to pick up my damn laundry for 35 F-ing minutes.

When I heard not to pity the poor from someone I thought it was wrong, but it is true now that they are poor because they don't give a two cents about anything and don't put enough effort to become rich. I am not saying all, but majority of it is just like that. I know there are some out there who are trying hard and waiting for the opportune time, but majority of the poor just don't give a !@# about anything.

Biochem

A few interesting points about breast/ovarian/colon cancer that I learned today.

1. Having children before age of 30 decrease the risk of breast cancer by 7% for each child birth! (So for those of you, LADIES, out there over the age of 25 and worry about breast cancer, maybe you should start working on it, cuz you only have less than 5 years to reduce your risk by 7% each time!!! So get going and moving, of course after reading my post!!!)

Well this is a few weeks back, I just didn't have time to post it.

GAME TIME!

I wonder what do people do during their free time. I know for the fact that different people have different taste when it comes to relaxation. Some just hang out with friends and talk for hours, some spends time with family in the park or do some activities. Some go to the movie, surf the net, play some console games/PC game. With increased popularity of Facebook, people nowadays, old or young seems to have a Facebook account of their own. At first it is used for networking, however it introduced the fun side of it by providing games applications. To my surprise, almost all my friends have at least 5-7 of those applications allowed on Facebook. When I asked them why you guys have that, answer is simple: fun and relaxation while at work. Most work places don't filter the Facebook so they can get in touch with friends and through the game, they can help one another and knot their ties better. Hence more networking in return. However there are some dissents among the friends who have close to none of those applications. They said those games are stupid and you are too OLD to play those NON-SENSE games. As a game fan myself, I want to let them know that being OLD doesn't mean you can't play game. Beside that, you can only be as old as you allow yourself to be. One question to them will be what do you do during your free time if you don't play these NON-SENSE games? Read news? other people blogs like this one? or other people Facebook update/feeds? watch movies? hang out? What exactly do you do? Now don't tell me I just eat and sleep and dig on textbooks! Whether you know or not, without relaxation, you are making yourself a disfavor and you are aging yourself exponentially. So keep that in mind and next time when you log into Facebook, allow an application or two so you don't age yourself exponentially!

Note: Those are just GAMES... not to be confused with REAL LIFE! Especially to those who are going to add some of those applications for the very FIRST TIME! Because some first timers usually take some of these NON-SENSE GAMES too seriously and Internalized them and they tend to get sucked into it and have some confusion with REAL LIFE! So be careful when you are trying out something new, because if you mixed the GAMES with REAL LIFE, then you got a BIG BIG PROBLEM up in your Cerebral Cortex and should definitely consult with a Neurologist immediately!

After the MINI!

Had my mini again yesterday, nothing unexpected. Couple of tough questions, but seems quite fair. That being said, OMETEDO OKASAN! Yeah, Happy B-Day mom!

Yesterday after the exam, played basketball for an hour or so. It was fun and refreshing. Then had a good dinner, chicken with christophine given by a friend of mine and watercress sour soup by me. Then they have the fumigation done at school so it sux as I can't go chill in one of the well lit classroom. Nonetheless it was a fun-filled day!

Nostalgia!

Oh! I miss the warm welcome home from mom, opening the main door wide, waiting for me to come home, turning on the hallway light so I won't trip on my way back. Well those are all things of past for the time being. Now living on the island on my own, hallway is dark and it is damn sad to see the door always closed and have no one waiting for me at home. It will be nice to have my hallway lit as I come home real late at night, but life is not always fair. However I still wish that my hallway is still lit as usual so I don't have to stumble when putting my key into the keyhole.

Tough Luck!

I was trying to reserve a room to study in school. Those rooms are hard to get as mostly people reserve them early and nothing really available. But I was lucky enough to get a room this time. I don't know how I managed to get one, but I got one. However, luck wasn't on my side, I was trying to studying and a loud high pitch voice just come across the wall from next room. At first, I don't know what the hell was that so I went out to take a peek what the hell is going on in next room. Lol and behold a girl was on phone talking with I don't know who but definitely doesn't have any plant to shut up any time soon. I understand how homesick one can be on the island so I just go back inside my room. But then it is not just 20 to 30 minutes I am talking about, it is for like hours. And the worst part is things coming out of her mouth wasn't even English and from time to time, she will squeal really loud and freaked me out sometimes. Luckily I come prepared so I just pull out my earplugs and let her carry on her business. Thanks to the earplugs, I accomplished my studying. It is just unbelievable how people these days are just too self-centered and no manner at all. So next time if you are going to call your loved ones or whomever it may be, please at least double check your surrounding so you don't become an @$$ like that girl next to my room.

First Mango

Well tasty fruit of the season? I myself was born in a tropical place, but never have I seen a mango in the middle of February! To my surprise this is my first mango since I returned to the island. I thought it is not seasonal yet and might not taste so good. It turned my head around and it was very delicious. Sweet as sugar, nothing like what you got in the STATES. That much I know. However sweet it my be, I say, it can't beat the mangoes from my motherland. Talking and thinking about it just put my parotid, submandibular and sublingual glands to work. And my GI is currently at the Cephalic phase, if you know what I mean... Just a taste of GI phys for you there. Parietal cells kicking into gear and pumping those tubulo vesicles up onto the membrane and secreting H+ like they should.

NO SURPRISES

Today I feel like I need to write about parenting because these days, kids are just getting out of control. I mean WAY out of control and wackos; no manner. Moreover, people these days tend to blame other more than they used to do back in the days. Without further ado, lets get down to business.

It is very important for parents to raise their children properly. If you are not a good role model for them to begin with by cursing in front of them, then there is no surprise when your offsprings have a shrewd tongue. That whole process of raising kid starts from the very beginning, as soon as the kid is born. When the parents don't know any manner, and on top of that have a shrewd tongue, then there is no surprise to see that their kids cursing in every sentence they speak, or calling names to people at their will. When others belittle you for your kids' actions, then you will scold your kids. But lets take a step back and look at the whole situation again before you unleash your anger to your kids and blame them! Lets see who really is at fault here, you or your kids! Kids act the way they do because you as parents failed to put them on the right track and teach them the proper manner, so isn't that in a way that is your fault for being belittled?

This is exactly the example of what I was blogging. It all happened in a facebook game. I don't know who it is, but that person bought my pet and renamed it. The name says something like this: "Thank Me! You belonged to me instead of idiot bastard!" And what come across my mind then was BAD PARENTING! That simply show how low-life that kid is and same image will be reflected onto his/her parents. All in all, it all boiled down to lack of parenting. If his/her parents were to taught some manner into him/her then i am sure such cases can be prevented. Calling someone bastard in public forum for no obvious reason is unjustifiable, but not unpreventable! It is also quite sad to see how kids these days don't give a second thought about how their actions will affect their parents.

So from the example above just think twice before you do something now boys and girls.

Well... the practical results turned out to be good or at least better than what I have expected right after the exam.

Today there is a movie(documentary) about Israle/Palasteinian (forgive me if I spell it incorrectly) conflict and unearthing the truth. Title is Occupation 101, but I have to see if I want to skip the anatomy TA session or not.

Let's see what I learned today... My day started out with Neuroscience, then Histology, then finishing with Biochemistry. In neuro, we covered olfactory and gustatory tracts, food and smell and pheromone. Interesting how both men and women find the mates who have different MHC than themselves to give better protection to their offspring. Wonderful ain't it, we should all thank to our parents for doing that. Then histology covered the immune system of the body. We have helper and killer and damn it was a mess XD! One intriguing thing is that CD4 with MHC 2 give you 8 and CD8 with MHC 1 give you also 8 when you multiply the CD# and MHC# together. Now learning about population genetic and Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium! And I say bring in the math! p^2 + 2pq + q^2 = 1 talking about polynomial and perfect squares... oh that brings back the memories of High School!

One interesting thing that professor said in class keep me amused for the whole day. So I will share with you all. That is from the Biochemistry class. We were doing genetic and at the end of the class when we were discussing about stabilization selection and directional selection... he has a slide showing how education and number of kids for women correlate. That is known as directional selection as women with higher education tend to have less kids. And the thing he said after a few of the students laughed is this "Oh! you guys are thinking about this, well that is also directional selection!" Took me a while, but then if you think about it, what he said was correct as well! I think you have to be a guy or not highly educated girl to get this XD.

Food 4 Thought!

Somethings just come out of blue...

Jealousy and Grudge is the bad combo that can destroy many things. Among the things are relationship, friendship, and even the world if enough people are having it. So just stay away from it and make peace and love (alright you sicko's, not make love! That's for all you perverts out there!).

Life is too short, so live peacefully and happily. Live without any regret and live life like you don't have tomorrow!

Have you ever feel the relief that come from correcting your wrong and making it right? If you haven't felt that in your life you are one of two things; either you are living very purely and never ever made mistake in your life, or you just too proud of yourself and can't let go your Hubris! I hope everyone who haven't felt that feeling is of the former rather than latter!

Well those are just some thoughts... any comments are welcome and appreciate it. Again, thank you for taking your time to read my post.

After the MINI!

First of all, sorry for not updating this for a while. Secondly, I want to thank to people who actually took their time to read what I have to say. Let me say it one more time to all you guys and girls out there, 'Don't be shy to leave comment or mail me!' I am open to all sort of discussions. I know you all miss me and probably cussing at me for leaving you guys for so long and not updating the site.

Here was the deal, no excuses though. I was sick for 4 days just a week before the mini so I completely felt shit, excuse my language, and didn't do much studying for those 4 days. So the studying was put away for a while and I had to do some catch up for like 10 days :(... yeah yeah.. whatever!

What done is done right.. so I am back again. Where did I leave out last time? Vitamins? Either way, we learned about vitamins, I didn't believe we have that many before the lecture. It is literally A to Z man! Then they throw us with nutrition, what food to eat, how to eat healthy. So much for the lecture though because right after the lecture is lunch time and all the students went out to grab what they want and none seems so healthy! (pizza, among other americanized foods) . After all those nutrition, come the Amino Acids and digestive enzymes. What makes it fun is you have to digest the Amino Acids and Digestive Enzymes in 2 days cuz they are part of exam!

Neuro was fun, learning all different tracts/modalities of each cranial nerve. Things starting to tie together and the human body is quite amazing.

As you know from the title, after the mini, I just had my first exam of 2nd semester today and went to beach bash party! WoooHOOOOO! Great burger and drinks (non-alcoholic)!

See you tomorrow? Hope I have time to post more.

Unbelivable Treatment!

Is there any physicians out there who can explain this, please feel free to post comment.

A patient comes in with complaint of common cold/sore throat, then you performed a physical as well as interview/ROS and diagnosed with laryngitis and tonsillitis. Then you prescribe GENERAL antibiotic and ORDER a CBC lab work.

Please explain the part of CBC(lab work)? Precautionary or MONEY-SUCKER? I just can't understand what kind of doctor does that by prescribing GENERAL ANTIBIOTIC and lab work at the same time? If there is a good logical reason behind this, please teach me, I am willing to listen and learn.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry

Sorry for missing to post for a few days already. We are learning about the Vitamin/Micronutrient. Lecture would've been better if taught by different professor :(... Well either way... make sure you take your daily supplement every day so to avoid some unnecessary nasty deficiency complications.

Neuroscience seems to be quite interesting as it is getting more complicated. I tell you... STAR WAR was based on Neuroscience!!! L@@K at the cross section of the rostral medulla, it looks like a butterfly... then caudal pon... DARK VATER(I don't know if I spell that one right or not.)! Then a moth... then UFO ... Neuroscience to me seems more and more extraterrestrial to me. Maybe that is why it is interesting!

OMG... I hate childish people

Why do people act like they all grow up outside, yet inside them SO DAMN CHILDISH? I just can't stand those types. If you got something to say, say it to the face and KEEP IT to the fact and truth, DON'T exaggerate and add stuffs to the TRUTH! On top of that... stop being childish and start taking off from friend list from facebook or block in g-talk or msn or what not. That is just too childish and definitely won't solve the problem. I just won't name who here because this is in public eyes, but you know who you are! So if you got something to say, then GET SOME BALLZ and say it in my face without dragging others into this matter! Or maybe you just DON'T HAVE BALLZ afterall.

3rd day

Interesting day... Biochemistry, Anatomy and Histology today with Dissection! Taking the brain was fun. Used the saw and opening the calvaria, I don't even know if I spelled it right. Either way you know what I am talking about. Holding that amazing thing in my hand was awesome feeling. Learned about steroid and thyroid hormone production/metabolism in BC. Adrenal gland for the Histo. Anatomy..... I don't even know what is going on in that class :S sad but true!

On top of all that, being a secretary to the school anime club, I have to be there at the table in the club fair today at 4:30 until 6:30 PM. Fun meeting new people and all. Wish they provide some kind of foods for us, but school is too cheap... All they ever think was how to squeeze our stones for more money.

I will keep posted daily. If I couldn't do so, please be patient because I maybe very BZ!

2nd Day the 12th

Sorry for posting it late as I was getting used to the daily review and adjusting my study schedule again as having 1 more class than previous semester.

Learned about Neuronal tracts and Neuroscience yesterday. Also went to learn histology of endocrine system, namely the Hypothalamus, Hypophysis(Pituitary), Thyroid & Parathyroid. Amount seems to be overwhelming, but they aren't boring stuffs so it's ok.

Will get back to you about today later on today.
